The Village of Hickory Ridge manages one facility, The Hawthorn Center,
which is the community center for the village. It is located on Sunny
Spring in the Hawthorn neighborhood, conveniently located in the heart
of Columbia minutes from I-95, Rt. 32 and Rt. 29. The Center houses the
village office and two rooms for socials and meetings. The Village Manager
can provide information on rates and availability.
Celebrate your next special event in our richly appointed
contemporary atmosphere. The main entrance brings you through our attractive
lobby, complete with cathedral ceiling and skylights. This casually
sophisticated room is included with the Banquet Room at no extra charge
for all weekend socials. Enjoy its comfortable furniture, attractive
decorations and TV/VCR.
Our lovely Banquet Room offers a hospitable setting for affairs up to
100 people. It features neutral décor, windowed south wall and
a 12' ceiling, opening out onto a flagstone patio with luxurious landscaping.
Immediately adjacent to this room is a complete kitchen.
The Conference Room, a carpeted room with a 10' conference
table with windowed wall, accommodates up to 30 people.
